Newshound is a dynamic group of young professionals who're passionate about news and storytelling. Based in the Middle East, we report on what's happening in this part of the world and across the globe. We don't believe all that much has changed since our ancestors sat around fires listening to stories. Journalism, at its heart, is story telling and we're committed to being those storytellers.

We're always touched that people share with us their personal tragedies and experiences and we take seriously our responsibility to tell those stories as accurately and honestly as we can.

Paula is the CEO and founder of Newshound. She has worked in the media for more than 15 years as a foreign correspondent, anchorwoman and news editor. She has reported from across the globe and is currently the Middle East bureau chief for Russia Today.

Allison has worked in radio, print and television as a producer, newsreader and photographer. She studied broadcast journalism and design in Australia, anchored drive time radio in Palestine, Spain and England, and is currently the Middle East producer for Russia Today. Her portfolio comprises photographs from more than forty countries.

Boris is a cameraman with more than a decade of experience working in a wide range of productions from news and entertainment to film. He has extensive experience in live productions and has worked with, among others, ABC News, Sony Music and Russia Today. He is fluent in Russian, English and Hebrew.

Shukri has worked as a producer, fixer and translator for half a dozen international television channels, including Russian Channel 1, RTR, NTV, Rusiya Al-Yaum and Russia Today. He is Newshound's man in the Palestinian territories. He lived in Russia for twelve years and is fluent in Arabic and Russian and his English isn't bad either.
